You'd have to be at oldest 8, not to know what a VHS was. That's when DVDs came out, at least in my country.

and what if the tape wasn't at the right position for you? I'm glad we don't have to rewind any more but I hate that dvds can block you from skipping adverts >:(
So I guess the time spent watching adverts you don't care about is about the same as the time it takes to rewind a vhs to the start of the film. Hmm.
