I would like to echo the warm comments made by others.
Paul Eddington (Jim) took Sir Humphrey’s Downing Street key off him today (on UK Gold) – much to the horror of Bernard who had then to deal with Appleby’s temper!
Pure comedy and as funny today as it was all those years ago!
I am very sad that this man left us too early.

Grew up with Tom, Barbara, Jerry and Margo playing every Sunday on our local PBS station. Always had a school girl crush on Paul Eddington- and it hasn't diminished over the years. RIP, sweet man.

What a sweet man. He was fantastic as Jerry in The Good Life, and in Yes, Minister. May he rest in peace.
God, how I've LOVED Felicity Kendal from across the pond for 25 years - and seeing that little lady looking so adorable in this tribute will do nothing to end the anguish......;o)
