I worked with Big George and the Country Function from Canada Day 1975 until Labour Day that year. He was an amazing talent. This summer while I was at the Stampede I gave them all the memorabilia I had for their display. They have his old ES315 on display. Check him out.

This so wonderful to see "the man" again. I never knew George in these earlier days so needless to say I am floored. George was quick with the wit and always ready with word or of knowledge. I am proud to say I knew him enough to love him. Miss you George.
