Andy's one of the few instrumental guitarists that sounds great as a trio with no accompanying keyboard or rhythm guitarists. Most of those other guys just sound hollow and missing something without accompanyment

The way i see the difference with Andy and Satriani is that, Andy play his songs as a story. But Satriani play his songs as emotions. Both are guitarist that admire and listen to :)
