Here is a Video #1 of a 2 Video series of an interview that I did with Martial Arts Weekly Radio Show. This was done with Sensei Duval Hamilton.

Some of the things that we went over in this section was --- What is the Budo Ryu? What is the training of the Budo Ryu? What are the 7 Warrior Traditions? What is Ninjutsu? I brief look at Samurai and Ninja Weapons.

@SuburbanShinobi8000 -- "BUDO RYU" (School of the Warrior Way) teaches the old kata, as is, and the students are tested on the old kata, as this is the root. However; they have to be able to apply this in the modern day, so yes we do teach traditional Budo, as well as Gendai Henka for the Budoka to have correct keiko. ---- Thanks for the post, not for sure what you mean by insulting me on your channel, hopefully you have taken it down so that you can move forward in our journey of Budo.

Respond to this video...This interview was done by Anshu Christa Jacobson of the Budo Ryu School of War. Not the Bujinkan. In the Budo Ryu there are 7 Warrior Traditions. Yes the Bujinkan has 9, but that is a different school and a different organization. *** IN FACT *** If you watch the video you will see a brief description of the 7 traditions and as you will see many of them have no ties to the Bujinkan lineages at all - Budo Ryu Staff
