Turok: Dinosaur Hunter is a FPS released for the N64 in 1997, which later had a PC release in about the same year as the N64 version. As the first Turok, named Tal'Set, you must stop the evil Campaigner from using the power of the Chronoscepter to rule the Lost Land, and also the entire universe. This game was made by Iguana Entertainment, one of the few good companies working for Acclaim at that time.
The game is played on Hard difficulty ,and the Chronoscepter pieces will be collected as well. I'm unsure if I'm going to get both of the same Chronoscepter piece at Level 7, because that level actually has two Chronoscepter pieces there.
Level 5: The Catacombs is, hands down, my most favorite level in the game. Taking place in a dark, forboding temple, there lie deadly traps, tar pits, and a huge labyrinth to navigate. At the end of the whole catacombs is the vicious Mantis, guarding one of several Level 8 keys. I faulter at parts, like taking the Minigun while I have nearly full minigun ammo and missing the Ultra Health at the outside portion of the level with the Level 6 key(Although it didn't matter cause I did not take much damage vs. the Mantis). I get my hands on the Grenade Launcher, Minigun, and the (underwhelmingly powerful on Hard mode) Particle Accelerator/Shockwave Weapon. That's almost all the weapons in the game, leaving only four weapons left to get in the entire game.
@TheSonic497 Nah, I think you're confused. Turok and Kurok look completely different so I doubt they have anything in common other than an oddly similar name...

Amazing what a fun & atmospheric game they made with that primitive technology.

One of the most tense levels in that game. Good times.

Finding all the keys and finishing this level was, and because of the mod-cons of most games in terms of saving/lack of game over, will probably always be, the most harrowing game experience of my life! Turok had such huge levels but just imagine losing all your lives and having to fumble your way through the darkness for another few hours by failing a bastard leap of faith you need to make to reach those bits of the catacombs only accessible from the outside entry by all those pools and raptors
