We rescued Oscar from a miserable life12 1/2 years ago (he's 14 now) and he rescued us from a Basset-less life. Bless the Bassets, everywhere!

Such an adorable video. I've lived with Bassets all my life (nearly 30yrs now!). When I was born, my parents had a 9yr old Basset called Winston - he was huge, but so gentle with newly born me - he'd sit by my crib and wouldn't let any strangers near me. I'll never have any other breed - Bassets for life!! :-D
