Magic: The Gathering - DotP 2012 - Archenemy Challenge 1: Might of the Mountains

1) Cast Flight on Koth's Ashen Monstrosity
2) Cast Earthquake & pay 5 lands

- None of Garruk's Creatures has got more than 5 defence and only 1 w/ flying, thus all of his creatures apart from his Stratozeppelid get destroyed and Garruk takes 5 damage.
- Neither Koth nor his Ashen Monstrosity take any damage.
- Flight is removed from Ashen Monstrosity as the owner of the card is defeated.
- Garruk's Stratozeppelid can block only creatures with flying: Koth's Ashen Monstrosity hits Garruk for 7 damage

@Milesaru Because when a player dies all their permanents leave the game instantly. Earthquake deals enough damage to kill you, so the flight disappears.

Why does the Flight get taken off the 7/4? It makes no sense O_o
