Lamborghini Aventador vs. 911 GT2 RS & Mercedes SLS - Autocar Drag Race

The good folks at autocar magazine have very kindly organised a drag race to see which is fastest... an Aventador, a 911 GT2 or the Fabulous Mercedes SLS...

As ever, full credit is given to autocar, and if they would like this video removed, they need only send us a personal message, or leave a comment to that effect and we will take it down for them.

imo races with a couple second difference of even milliseconds doesn't matter much.. it depends on the driver as well as taking each corner like perfectly with soft tires for fastest time.. on the street imo it's all about straight line acceleration, the sound, the look, the feel, and some bends but not too tight is what matters the most

@AntDX316 Yes but that's the thing. Lambo hasn't been doing so well on their cars lately. This lambo is special because they took everything and turned it around, They built a WHOLE NEW V12 and that is special because they haven't done that in years. Lambo has been losing races and going down, but now they made a car that has taken LAMBO to a WHOLE new meaning! They made a car that can kick-ass and now other cars will have to keep up with it. Lambo is now ahead of the game!!

@DoctaM3 Yes i couldnt agree more but i would like to see 3 cars with the same HP and stuff :D such as like one-77, aventador and 599 gto you know, but anyways it was an entertaining race :D

to be honest the Evo VIII has been doing this stuff and I think the launch with lots of HP is better.. because the engine is in the front and the weight goes to the rear so with the right tires, clutch, and power delivery the grip level is far superior than the aventador.. where the engine is in the back of the car
