ArmA SLX & ECS: Assault on Modesta

Blufor squad attempts a surprise attack on the enemy squad guarding Modesta. Everything needs to be finished quickly, since enemy reinforcements are minutes away.

Addons used:
- SLX 1.0 (modified to remove effects)
- ECS 1.0.1.51 (without wounding system)
- ArmaEffects
- Cameron McDonald's 1st Infantry Division
- Durg's Vegetation Fix

Sidenote: This used to be a relatively easy skirmish mission using only ECS. When adding SLX, with Opfor starting to consolidate in the buildings, a fast sweep is seldom possible and things get a nasty turn.

Is ecs also using DSAI? I mean are those ppl calling naturally or is it due to ecs?

Yes, it does. Some sounds are from ECS, some from SLX. You can easily see this for the OPFOR, they're using both Russian voices (ECS) and English voices (SLX).

Also, SLX includes a bridge file for RUG DSAI, but you'll still have some English voices for events not covered by the RUG DSAI system (such as "I'm hit" calls).

@yaofpfan I have both mods and ACE aswell but my tanks, you cant switch ammo type it's permanately on coax gun, even if i let the AI gun they still cant use the main cannon, how do i do it?

I like the SLX mod quite a bit, but sometimes the wounding system is kinda off really. You got shot from mid-range and survived and stuff that would kinda be possible but then when u entered the room you got shot at point blank with a 7.62 round i think (was it the PK that fired?) and went down for a quick patch up? Nice video.

they look really bad compared to arma effects mod and also how do i remove ECS wounding system??
