@LifesaGardenDigit1 The environment you have described here cannot be safe for the police or the citizens..Police work and9Human Lives) should not be done under those conditions...I;ll bet a lot of mistakes are made..
@LifesaGardenDigit1 welll how the day goes depends on what precinct you are at 3 og the 5 precenincs in gwinnett your day might start out slow with hardly any calls and then the second half of the shift its back to back calls or it could be vice versa. yea you will run your butt off working for GCPD both in their police academy and on the streets
How long ago was your friend in the Gwinnett Police Department? Did he quit, go to a different department, or to a different city? Did he get burned out on the job?
Curious because I'm looking into different police departments. I'm young and single, so I figure I can go practically anywhere that will give me the experience I need.
Any information would be appreciated, also if you need to PM me. Thanks!!!
They are not kidding about "hit the ground running." I have a friend that worked there for 2 years. 8 hour shifts - said from the time he went "in service" until it was time to go home all he did was run from call to call. Accidents, shootings, stabbings, car chases - you name it. And you will be on one call and always have several other calls holding all the time. Said it was a great place to work and the pay was great, too - you just run you butt off daily.
