An Introduction To Platforms (Democratic election example)

This animation uses election 2006 to demonstrate the importance of understanding
Platforms. It was first posted 10/31/2006 under the title "Election 2006." After its release political conversations around the country began to reincorporate the use of this term which is really a tool.
By understanding "Platforms" a voter (especially new citizens) better grasps politics in the United States or in general.

The lesson this animation teaches "Build on a solid foundation and your platforms will hold" applies to all elections. This means that each voter and the media needs to examine the past behaviors of our elected officials to match up against what those elected representatives promised during the campaign.

If voting is not corrupted on election day then elections are benifical and unpredictable.
Otherwise, elections are predictable and unbeneficial.

Why Vote for Arnold? The Republican Party has been the main impediment to starting the process of reversing the damage of green house gases or global warming.

Why does it take a brick in the head for the G.O.P to understand this topic. We could have started the clean up years ago but for the G.O.P.
