  • Holy crap this looks soo freakin good

    I love this car!!!!!

  • The car looks great !

  • @Slimecrazy234 No, I didn't imply that they looked alike. If you actually read back, it was that StreakingTiger person that said that. Look carefully. And I know all this. I'm a big car fan and have read up all the info and what you're saying is what I've been trying to say all along.

  • @giannial1985 Yes it is based on the Corolla platform, actually it's closer to the european Toyota Auris. Toyota platforms are fairly flexible, so while many cars share bits and pieces none are actually 100% alike. The Auris, Prius, HS and Corolla could be said to share the same platform. Compared to the Corolla this has a hybrid powertrain, a CVT transmission and a different suspension. Plus its crash test scores are far superior. You implied they looked alike in your reply to StreakingTiger.

  • @Slimecrazy234 Sorry, but you're wrong. I just looked it up and the CT does share a platform with the Corolla and Matrix. Shares the same engine as well and I didn't say they looked alike.

  • @giannial1985 It doesn't share the same frame as the Matrix and put them side by side the two look nothing alike.

  • @StreakingTiger That's cause it probably shares the same frame. Toyota=Lexus. It's just like the ES is actually a luxury version of the Camry.

  • I think it looks like the Toyota Matrix or Pontiac Vibe
