I bet you the reason Jack wasn't at this year's oscars was because his ego was bruised by Heath's portrayal of the Joker. Jack owned that role, and Heath ripped it from him and took it to new heights, and Jack couldn't handle it. He was not going to be there and be part of him being recognized.

Jack Nicholsons look was by far incomparable. No wonder Heath did a great job but twice in ths trailer he laughed brilliantly. He should have done it more in the film but his role was a bit darker than JN's...I will miss this laugh.

wow magnificent film. Just wandering how the hell there gonna make the sequel for this, the joker still alive but the actors dead. And recasting the joker wil be a complete mistake since what heath ledger did with it.
