Nice comments by shaikh Munajjid.I respect him alot.But either i misunderstood him or he says he is against religious debates...I belive these are good for dawah and spreading the truth of Islam to the world...

I think what the Shaykh means with debates is about the modernists who wnat to debate the issues within Islam like the punishments etc. the Shaykh shows a lot of respect for Shaykh Ahmed Deedat(ra) on his site Islam-qa and he has a lot of fatwas on how Muslims can prepare themselves for debates with non-Muslims like seeking knowledge.

As many Americans and Europeans as possible need to be told about Islams "death for apostasy" law so that they will know just how evil Islam is.

@IslamInternationall No. I will not shut up.Genuinely peaceful religions don't include death penalty for apostasy. Christians and Jews rightly ignore biblical teachings about death to nonbelievers. Muslims should also ignore scholars who say "death to apostates".

The fact that Islam still teaches that it is right to put someone to death just for leaving Islam proves that Islam is not a religion of peace.

A couple of years ago there was a major meeting Islamic scholars of the International Islamic Fiqh academy or whatever it is called. Some of them proposed that Islams apostasy law be changed There was a debate but the scholars voted to keep the apostasy law the way it is. Of course the Wahhabi scholars said the debate shouldn't be happening at all because "gods law cannot be changed by people".  This proves that people are wrong to say the apostasy law is unislamic.

There are quite a few Muslims in the United States who insist that the Islamic law against apostasy which calls for death for apostates is unIslamic, that it violates that verse in Quran which say "no compulsion in religion". The tell me "you should only look to Quran to see what Islam really teaches, not scholars" I figure those people are trying to sanitize Islam to make it more palatable to Americans.I will refer them to this video and see what they think of it
