The scoville scale measures how hot a chili pepper is. There are more than 140 types of chili peppers. I decided to make a youtube video about the scoville scale.
IMPORTANT INFO: The more scoville units on a pepper's rating, the hotter the pepper. The hottest peppers, such as habaneros and nagas, usally have a rating of 225,000 or more. The mildest peppers, such as bell peppers, banana peppers and poblano peppers, usally don't have a rating higher than 2,750.
