I love her voice but singing isn't really impressive.Alap is the most important part of classical singing.It should be very spontaneous and creative.It should cover atleast some of the swar sanchar patterns of the raga.Her alap does cover some of the patterns of the raga but it is too brief and it certainly doesn't showcase her creativity.She seems to have sung it as it is from her book!

Secondly,she sings the taan swars out of her notes which really is hilarious. When a singer understands a raga,only then he will be able to sing swar patterns amidst the khayals.Thus this lets us know the quality of his singing.Though this girl's guru has already taught her the taana swars also,she should atleast feel the melody of the raga and sing them without looking at her goddamn notes !

In any concert,there will be a good musical connection between the singer and the tabla,harmonium players.They acknowledge each other frequently.But here,the girl neither smiles nor she even looks at the tabla or the harmonium players .
I commented not because i'm jealous or jobless .These small mistakes count a lot in Hindustani classical singing .This girl has the ability to get to the top and i'm sure she will with more riyaz and dedication.All the best.God bless you !
