Why I am Supporting Obama, and Voting for McCain

I don't think you need to demonize Barack Obama in order to make a reasoned, thoughtful decision to vote for John McCain. I think Barack Obama is a great American. But when I think about what our c...

The "Democrat" National Convention? The "Democrat" Primary?

You're an idiot. Write a script with proper grammar next time. "Dialogue" is also not a verb.

Thank you for the deep insightful commentary. And, just for calrity, dialogue can in fact be an intransitive verb. And "Democrat Party" is a proper (although less common) usage. On the other hand, maybe I'm just an idiot.

dan, i'm not sure it matters now that the election is over, but i must say your characterization of obama's economic plan is grossly misrepresentative. taking from the rich and giving to those in need? come on. that is so inaccurate it's just irresponsible.

your nuclear energy option is flawed. Uranium supplies, reserves and mines indicate depleting supplies. if the US were to go online with nuclear power that would accelerate. it's not a viable longterm solution. do your homework.

I voted McCain because there was no other choice. I would have rather wanted Huckabee, Romney, or Guliani or Hillary. Didn't get any of them on the ballot. Damn shame too because they were far better than the two left. I am pretty skeptical on Obama. McCain was great, but I am having second thoughts on Palin since the election ended mostly from hearing her on a few shows since the election. Rather see what happens with another candidate in 2012 up against Obama. Hillary is always out there.

i truly do appreciate your video. you took the "politics" out of politics. You weren't completely bashing one party because you supported another. You saw both the candidates as good american citizens who both want to help our country. I commend you and though I am an Obama supporter I love how you have been completely reasonable unlike some people.

as of right now Obama would destroy checks and balances. Almost all of the government right now is democrat. So if republican get elected CHECKS AND BALANCES Democrat No checks and balances.

We don't need a divided gov't right now...it would create too much grid lock, we need change and we need it fast....I am proud to be an American again and have hope that President Obama will lead all America in a positive direction...McCain was pro war and a hawk...which is a waste of money that we need at home to rebuild our own country....this war was unjust and illegal
