  • @DramaticPrairieDog Your the foreigner

  • @troganx1 maybe on the ps4? xD but when ps4 is released pc might get something better like on the ps3 they put the new blah blah blah its the best console ever made... but then days later the xXjizz360 lololol graphics card is released and it makes pc more advanced

  • @troganx1

hahaha ok relax i'm not a nerd anymore

    (:

  • @thekiller199 No,It can cap only 30 FPS.

PC's are obviously enhancing more everyday. You wouldn't see a fucking 16 core Processor in a console, would you?

  • 1:25 Hello Battlefield 3, I understand you'll be doing this five times larger all the time, yes?

  • @Knexxuss

How do you exsplain that when the Xbox was released, it's graphics card alone cost 1 1/2 times the price of the console to buy on it's own?

Not to mention it's hard drive, board, cd drive, and other component parts. The maths dont add up...

The revinue is made from game sales, It has to be. every £10 per game goes to the console company. PC gamers pay list prices for components, that's why games are £10 cheaper.

  • @187781jason It probably isn't a loss, but the profits definitely are not as high as the companies would like.

  • @InsanityRewritten Uncharted 2 does support anti-aliasing. In fact, it uses 2x MSAA.

As for the "CPU assistance"... PS3's processor, IBM Cell, has parallel SIMD units (SPEs) quite similar to the stream processors on modern GPUs. Because of that, developers have the possibility of offloading the post-processing tasks from RSX's shaders to Cell's SPEs. That way, you have post-processing effects without stressing the GPU, but that also allows RSX to occupy itself with more regular shading tasks.

  • Consoles are made at a loss, The revinue is made by us buying games. Because PC users may not neccasary use them for games they have to pay list prices.

  • @InsanityRewritten

You would be correct, because this is the only time this happens. GPUs, especially nowadays, will not need any help from its CPU since they are so powerful. But in PS3s case its different, the RSX was a good GPU when it came out, but since then PC GPUs have far surpassed the RSX and other console GPUs. The Cell has 8 SPEs in which are able to offload a lot of the graphics work off the RSX on to the SPEs. So, really you have as Insomniac said "A GPGPU solution.".
