To be fair, thats a very difficult situation to really judge honestly. nobody can know how they would feel if they had to go through that. at a certain point, i think it becomes nearly impossible to trust people, especially when it was known the germans were so good at screwing with people's trust, time and again.
If the German had saved said Jew's life over and over again? Hell yeah I would. At least enough not to try to screw the German over, time and time again. Roslin's attitude toward's Sharon Agathon really pissed me off, tbo.
Sharon was a Cylon. Why don't you look objectively at the situation. How was Laura supposed to trust a member of a race that annihilated 50 billion men, women and children in a nuclear holocaust? Do you think it would be so easy for a Jew to trust a German a year after the holocaust was over?
She also stole Sharron's and Karl's child, saying "It's a threat", and then having Cottle fake the child's death. Laura said that the child was "important to humanity's survival", but who give's her the right to steal some one's child and faking it's death? And of course the child's mother dies on New Caprica, and then it fall's in the hand's of the cylon's only to ALMOST die.
Cally had every right frakking right to hate President Roslin. Sure, she kept the fleet together, but she was corrupt, she cheated in the elections against Baltar, and of course she wasn't punished, but when Baltar surrendered on New Caprica, by which he saved Larua's ass, as well as all the other 38,0000+ lives on the planet. Baltar may be selfish, but he really wasn't that bad. Laura however, did things that were just as bad as Baltar, and she of course was never punished.
