And yes, it still made #1 on all the pop charts across the USA. Awesome artist, awesome song, one of my all time favorites. Tthe king is not dead - he lives in the hearts of his fans forever. My grandchildren listen to him and think he is totally kewl. Guess the younger generation isn't so dumb after all. Oh, BTW, I LOVE this song.

@9tonite You can put that in present tense, because I'm one of over a billion chicks of today who worship Elvis. The man had a to-die-for singing voice, looks, personality... he could have been an all-out jerk with it all, an absolute racist and jackass. He wasn't. But damn, that VOICE! I almost love it more than his pre-1977 face... lol
