Hi,

I have Beats By Dre's for really listening to music but I am looking fr something relatively cheap for more casual listening, such as in a car or walking. Would these earphones still give good sound? I've always been a fan of Marshall (have an amp of theirs) so I figure I'd like to look at them. How are they going reliability wise?

@03Wakesetter Man I wish I could afford those! haha. those have too much bass for me. They are amazing but not for bluegrass.

These ear buds I still have the first pair running. I have had no issues at all with quality at all. No crackling, frayed cable or anything. Very durable. I still have a set of brand new ones as a back up that I dont know if I will ever open, unless I loose them. I tried to get Marshall to send me the new ones to test out for an updated review but no word back yet...

sound is very good(guitar especially)，design is good...i love it so much.....but ....i just used 4 months...the terminal got problem.....so" one ear music" now...why it broken so quickly???really broke my heart....(ノД`)・゜・your review is good...but the minor is not so good.(really really don't want to say that，but it's true. )

@creamsodabee What do you mean by terminal? usually ear buds die due to harsh treatment. Mine are as old as this review and still work great!

is the noise isolation good like the klipsch?

@MrJamesdimaano1516 Well when I was on a plane two weeks ago and the sound of the plane was far louder then the movie I was watching. It was pretty terrible to be honest. When people sit next to me, not on a place but in a bus or shuttle they can't hear what I am listening to very well. I think brands like Klipsch and Sure have far too much history with good headphones to even have Marshall in their ball park. Hope this helps!

@03Wakesetter Beats LOL overpriced and too much bass so you can't hear REAL music with more layers of instruments you can only listen crappy songs with a bass and vocals and nothing more. Audio Technica and AKG are waaay better (but I gotta give you beats are very cool-looking). PERIOD!

@ jdlaux omg I have the klipsch s4i's and they got amazing sound and they're extremely comfortable. I haven't tried the Marshall minors but I would highly recommended the klipsch s4's and they also have a very good quality bass and the overall sound is amazing. Highly recommend the s4's.

Did anyone finally compare these versus the Klipsh s4 buds? I read in the reviews about a comparison. Anyway, great review. I have been searching for a nice pair of new buds and am down to either these or the Klipsh s4...
