  • James noooo ol Max was on a roll, you shouldn't of let him go. Just make it two parts next time lol.

  • What specifically has Coca-Cola done wrong? If the hedge funds cause Coca-Cola to go broke won't the wealth simply be transferred to the hedge fund? Who invests in hedge funds... mainly the rich I believe. You may have caused a corporation to collapse... but the rich are still getting richer. What is to stop the majority shareholders and executives from investing in the hedge fund that you are using to destroy them? I must be missing the point.

  • Actually the hedge funds only get a small piece of the pie. The majority of the wealth transfer goes to all the other beverage makers that increase their market share. People will drink more orange juice or water or something instead of coke. The hedge funds are really just vultures.

The main point of this scheme is to get people's concerns and wishes expressed in the marketplace.

  • barkforumDOTcom is a forum for boycotting different corporations etc.

  • This is going to have to come to revolution and revolt; there simply is no other way. The people will continue to be oppressed until the elite really do have something to fear. If a LARGE portion of the population actually knew the kind of mess we are in now, and precisely who is responsible, then this wouldn't be an issue because those people would be dead! At this stage in the game, I believe it is mostly an information war. But at some point this needs to become a REAL war. BE PREPARED!

  • Why not boycott Hollywood Stock Exchange.

  • Thanks. I didn't know of their activities. I think the whole concept of corporations is fundamentally flawed. By law corporations must chase dollars regardless of whether the actions necessary are ethical, and regardless of what damage it does to the greater community or the planet as a whole. I will be boycotting Coca-Cola.

  • Coca Cola is notorious for strangling the water supply of communities that they set up water collections facilities in, and leave large amounts of pollution as byproducts of their operations. They have over 50 water collections plants in India and have depleted groundwater supplies in these areas, leading to devastating droughts in many cases for the local communities. Pollution comes in the form of high levels of cadmium, lead and chromium.

  • Biodiesel is a good idea. I saw a guy demonstrating it once. His car exhaust smelt like a BBQ :) A pleasant change. You are right about Hemp too... extremely versatile.

I don't suppose your saw that building in South America? It is supposed to be 12,000 years old... the oldest building on Earth. It is made so well you can't fit a pin between the stones. They also used a "mobile smelter" to create staples in the stones to hold them together... awesome! Very interesting!

  • I respect your views. Personally, I have seen the Venus Project's orientation video, and Charlie Veitch interviewing Jacques Fresco. Nothing will suit everybody, but I found Jacques to be quite interesting.

In our current system the top 10% control 90% of the world's wealth, and people are often rewarded financially for doing things to the overall detriment of mankind, and the environment as a whole. I believe the Venus Project would certainly be a step up from that.

  • Thank you for the warning. May I ask how you know of "The Venus Project"?

I would say that the reason that free energy is not in place is that people currently make a lot of money by selling energy, and are willing to take steps to prevent free energy from being used.

Look at Stanley Meyers. He invented a way of using water as a fuel source. He was poisoned... and all of his technology was seized.
