H.S. Basketball: Zanesville vs. Wilmington (1/10/09)

The Blue Devils calmed the storm briefly in the third quarter, but the Hurricane regained strength down the stretch.

At the Scholastic Play-By-Play Classic played at Ohio States Value City Arena, Wilmington fought off a third quarter comeback from Zanesville, rolling to a 54-40 to remain unbeaten at 9-0.

Talented junior Quinten Rollins dazzled with 19 points, six rebounds and five steals to lead the Hurricane, while Jordan Berlin added 14 points.

Zanesville senior Joe Prati recorded a double-double behind 17 points and 14 rebounds.

The Blue Devils (2-7) trailed by 14 at halftime, but got within five points in the third before Wilmington pulled away.
