@alexg00se It's not unheard of... like... at all. VERY defensive creatures. They will attack on land and in water, but only if provoked, like every other animal in nature. Why was your guide just parked there while the thing is running towards you? That's idiotic! You could've been in a very bad situation. Hippos cause more deaths in Africa than any other animal, and they have the highest pressured bites. You'd have lost that leg.

Yeah it's to bad this people didn't die then maybe it would be illegal for these guides to entice animals to charge. People are so fucking stupid, think about it if someone invades these animals safe zone you will be attacked and these guides do it all the time.

@Mr2505federal Interesting that you wished i had died...makes you an interesting person. Our guide and tracker did absolutely nothing to entice the animal to charge- this was a completely freak occurrence. And we weren't invading a hippo's safe zone considering you have to be in water for this to happen. A hippo attacking a car is absolutely unheard of.
