@garacco that sucks!!! I love this movie - perhaps you can start burning copies to sell on ebay!! (I'd buy one)

1:55 "Dirtyface!" was one of my favorite lines when I was kid. I thought it was really funny :)

MY FAVORITE VERSION OF HEIDI!!!

Well, remember, it's a musical and obviously the director took liberties to make the scenes as lively or as dramatic as possible. In fact, if you wanted to analyze things even further, the mixture of colors could be inspired from old Gene Kelly musical numbers or from a child's perspective of the world (filled w/ color)!

i really like how they retained the accents in the characters. ^^

OMG LOL yeah, i forgot too! HAHAHAHAHA
I'm going to have to remove my Heidi videos. I got a notice from YouTube that said Studio100 Media GmbH says I'm infringing, although I went to their website and they don't have this specific Heidi right. They have the rights to a different animated Heidi. Any ideas on what I can do? If Heidi's Song was out on DVD I would take this off in heartbeat, but as many of you we can't find it on DVD and there are only a few VHS copies out there.

My God, My God!!! Thank you ever so much for posting this EXTRAORDINARY work of art and animation on youtube!!!! You have no idea the inspiration that this movie gave to my life and to my further artistic career. The songs are extraordinary, the choreography used to design the characters when they dance and the directing is truly suberb!! Thank you soooo much for posting this movie, thank you again!!!

I love this movie as well. Another Youtube member named Clearblacklines has some of the songs uploaded as well in better quality. Mine is from a VHS when I taped it on the Disney Channel in its early years.
I'm hoping this movie gets released on DVD as well as "Salute Your Shorts" and "The Mysterious Cities of Gold".
