World Record Banana Display

Our Providence Maceys store (just outside of Logan, Utah) just set the new world record for the largest banana display. 66,000 pounds of bananas. With help from Dole & Associated Food Stores, 33 pallets of bananas made it to the front of the store. Now, the challenge is to sell it all! 20 cents a pound if you happen to be nearby.

At 20 cents a pound, I'd be eating a lot of them. You can freeze them once they're ripe, but it is better to peel them first.
