@blz1313567 To reset all to clear you turn the power off. Hold the 2 button, 9 button and MANUAL button all at the same time while turning on the power. It should clear all memory. You can also modify this model to do 80 channels instead of the 30 it says and doing the mod erases memory too. Mine is 80 channels now and works great.

i've reprogrammed one, with my area frequencies, but it seems to be holding onto old numbers that used to be in it, even after checking if shows the new numbers but it's not the right company. is there anyway to completely erase the scanner, the manual doesn't say how to, someone else had it before with odd nuumbers in it?
