  • i used motorcycle headlights but you can get some small bosche units now that will fit ,i was going to upgrade to them .

  • Nice black smoke... Also what's the point of swapping a Chevy V8 in a 928 since it already got a V8 in it???

  • @omfgwtfbbq90 i did the convertion 7 years ago the pound dollar was strong so i took advantage of it .

i put a 450bhp small block in there, the engine in the vidio is 660bhp.

at the time it would have been very expensive to get this power from a porsche engine.

the black smoke is the carberetor jetted rich ,if i had not of sold the car i would have invested in a stand alone fuel injection system that would have made it a much user friendly animal.

  • 383 supercharged small block 660 bhp dyno proven.

    s4 brakes

    bilstien coil over suspention

    5 speed gt gearbox

    19 inch wheels

    stroseck body mods

thats keeping it breef mate ha.

  • i no the 32 valve 5 litre motor can be supercharged to 500 plus bhp on stock internals ,my motor was only a 2 valve 4.7 with mechanical fuel injection so 450 was a achivment 928 motorsports has great experiance with this early set up i spoke to carl there many times with the development of my early porsche set up.

chevy was juust cheap power with hind site a 7 litre ls motor would have been a good starting point.

  • @omfgwtfbbq90 More power, less weight, easier to modify and cheaper to maintain. Regardless of what the Euro-snobs would have you believe, General Motors' LS series is a killer family of engines. The LS1 (the oldest member of this engine family) makes as much as the top rated engine that ever came in a 928 with more torque and better manners. Frankly, it is hard to contest.

  • Cool man I got the same one. Which type headlights did you use to replace?

  • I'm thinking about doing the engine swap also. Is it worth it? I can get a 928 for $4,000 with a blown engine.

  • what were the extras on this baby...

  • @marcorodamien ...so how's that speech therapy going?
