A short glimpse of Chicago's Mexican Independence Day Parade, September 2007. The parade was a part of the Little Village Festival at 26th and Kostner (Plaza de la Villita). One thing about Chicago folk, they know how to make noise and get the crowd going!

  • Thats one thing I never understood about Mexicans their pride WTF do they have to be proud of look at the country their culture made; it is a failure in every tangible measure, economics, civics, sciences & technology have nothing to be proud of.

  • California would turn into a poor corrupt State if given to Mexico just like most of Northern Mexico is today. BTW it was the USA who built the dams to provide CA with power and water--something Mexico could never afford to do. Its the USA and its money that keeps ITS states including California afloat. Its the USA that provides all of us the quality of life that most mexicans want and flee mexico for. So have some respect to the USA the country that provides for your ass.
