Mississippi John Hurt - Pay Day (cover on Martin 00-15)

A great tune by MJH here, which I only discovered recently, and seems to be one of the few songs he recorded in an open tuning (as far as I know).

I've tuned to open D major, but taken the strings half a step down to try and mimic the sound on the recording. So, DADF#AD to C#G#C#FG#C#.

This is played on my new Martin 00-15, and I hope you enjoy this instrumental cover!
