I never denied that Tarja has a lovely voice. Hearing her in some songs still brings me to tears, however, so does Anette.

Tarja is not Nightwish - she was merely the face and voice for a while. Tuomas is Nightwish, the constant glorifying of Tarja is getting old - especially since she had little if anything to do with the actual songwriting.

My question for you is if Nightwish died for you in 2005, then why do you visit videos where you know Anette is the vocalist?

@MrCarmenJones Allow me to say something more ;). At the beggining I was thinking like you. But now I see that Anette is quite sensitive person. Her interpretations are not only depend of type of voice, but also of her own ideas. You can like it or not, but for me the soul'd be lost if the new vocalist tried to pretend Tarja. She makes mistakes, but please - open your mind and try to look at Anette as a singer herself, not Tarja's replacement ;). She deverved it.

@MrCarmenJones Hm, I don't think that "they have lost soul". It's difficult to judge something like that, but Anette seems to "feel" what she sings in most of cases (so does Tarja). It's not easy to sing this songs with totaly different type of voice. Anette interpretes it in her own way and, yes, often shows a creativity in it. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. The fact is she's technically worse than Tarja but is still good and IMO she gave a new spirit to some tracks.
