Roger's post match interview after beating Soderling, here's the transcript:
-Congratulations Roger, it was a tough first match

-Yes it was, well first of all good evening.
Robin has been playing very well lately, he's been in two finals recently in Stockholm and Lyon which he won. Which is why I'm very relieved and I'm happy with the way I played.
It's my first time back after RG so I'm happy to have won this one.

-Did winning in Basel convince you to play here, before the master cup?

-Well I played a lot of matches this year, like Rafa or Novak, so it's great that we're all here and I hope it's going to be a great tournament.
