Celica 3S-GTE

This is my friends 1994 celica. It has a 3s-gte motor swap from a 5th gen all-track. This motor can also be found in the turbocharged mr-2. The car has a front mount spearco intercooler, rebuilt turbo, custom downpipe and 3 inch turbo-back exhaust (still not quite finished), porsche red paint, supra spoiler, Motegi Traklite 1.0 rims with yokohama S. drives, lowered with new shocks and struts, hks bov (not in this clip), and the car was originally automatic, and now converted to manual. Many more details that I can't remember off hand. All the work but the paint was done in the garage in front of the car by the owner. SWEET RIDE

where is the battery because my friend has a 1997 celica and hes doing the same swap but he wants to get one of the velocity cone intakes where the headlight is but on his car the battery is right behind the drivers side head light

did you have a battery relocation kit or is that how the 94s are?

The car has a battery relocation kit that moves the battery to the trunk.  It is just a universal kit found on ebay I think...

First time I have seen a 3S GTE in a celica with a front mount intercooler without clocking the turbo. Is the car a GT4 or a front wheel drive?

I have a 6th gen 1997 celica and the 5s-fe that was in it blew the other day, iv found a JDM 3s-gte to swap to for 1400 but I need to know if it will fit and if I need to replace or upgrade anything and how much work it will take please get back to me soon I'm looking at the engine this week.

i have this exact same celica and build. its a nice set up the 3sgte is the only way to go for turbo celicas. do you have engine dampers in there? my mounts wear so fast because teh engine jerks so much!
