Are Atheists Hypocrites?

Actually, not only are atheists hypocrites, but so is the rest of humanity. Sorry for using Atheists as the example in the title, it simply gets more press. Regardless, you will notice most atheists, agnostic or other people who openly mock organized religion often use this argument to legitimize their position. As I explain in the video, you simply cannot be a hypocrite if you call yourself human. This is because human naturally proclivity is to be a hypocrite no matter the individuals faith. Most people understand lying is wrong and would adhere to the practice of being honest. However, everyone has lied for their own benefit despite their ethical choice for honesty.

So, this hypocritical argument must be put to rest and re-evaluated if people decided to denounce their participation of organize religion.

Plus, if anyone who claim there is good and evil in the world, and there is a side that represents justice and the others represent sin. i don't think that is hypocritical, I just think they are 8 years old.

When an 8 year old ask "Who is the good guys in this war?" The answer is not the USA, it is "There are no good guys nor bad guys in this world, much less in a war."

Morality is just a list of acceptable behaviors we impose on ourselves to function as a society, and it is conditional.

Actually, the problem is the existence of Jesus as son of God or God itself was never verified. So the claim of Jesus being perfect is only based on what a book tells you.

On the note of being hypocrites. All human are hypocrites to a degree, everything is conditional, there are double standards for everything. The problem is the degree of extreme behaviors.

Being the follower of God and preaching absolute morality and love while not following it is fairly extreme I would have to say.

your argument is invalid, it is similar to saying "Humans are all stupid, we all do stupid things and everything is just stupid", this may be true, but the vast difference in intelligence makes the statement... Thats why christians ARE NOT Hypocrits, because they admit they are sinners in need of a savior, Athiest are the ones that think or will say often "they arnt worried about god even if he does exist because they are good people"

I'm an atheist and I respect people for their beliefs. However, what I see here is a person making a huge generalization towards people with my beliefs.
