School Project: Brief trailer on the classic novel "One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich." Themes: Inhumanity - Human Dignity - Oppression NOTE: There are clips from "The Great Raid"
This is one of my favourite books. It's the whole point that his life is very boring from a normal perspective, but not from the perspective of a prisoner. His life is incredibly hard and at risk all the time and the smallest things give him a sense of survival and triumph. I like this book because you never feel hard done by or sorry for yourself again after reading this. It is anti-depressant in effect and shows how resilient the human spirit can be under the most difficult circumstances.
I just saw part two in HD quality here >> bit.ly\kfFuWR << the ending is really cool!!!
