@IVLIVSCAESARAUGVSTUS I totally agree with you. I don't know why some people always make an issue out of pronunciation. As long as you can be understood and don't mispronounce it's OK to have an accent. I am a teacher and I am currently preparing students for the oral part of the FCE and I pronunciation is something they are very worried about and I always tell them that it's not a make or break thing. As you said, they take many things into consideration.

@IVLIVSCAESARAUGVSTUS ;D.

@IVLIVSCAESARAUGVSTUS I'm spanish. Want to add me in skype and check my accent in both english and spanish? And by the way, I scored 57/60 in my CPE (I failed :( ) exam but I had the highest score in my speaking part.
And yeah I've ordered shitloads of paellas in a perfect Madridian accent. ;D

@DooGie17 Bear in mind this is a test for speakers of other languages, and besides the accent there are many other items such as vocabulary, accuracy, fluency... I'd like to hear you speaking spanish, ordering a paella in a restaurant by the beach, for instance ;D peace bro :)
ohmygod. i'm preparing for proficiency now; i'm 17 and i'm also spanish, but i DON'T have that accent. I hate that every native speaker automatically thinks spanish people have such a bad pronunciation -.-
