  • Buffalo has more days with temperatures over 60F than we do with snow on the ground. We are sunnier than Orlando, Fl. and we're considered the "Sunshine Capital of the Northeast". Now, will you smug out-of-towners please aim your climatological condescension at more appropriate targets?

  • No, wait, don't give away the secret!! We are trying to keep the bad image so we can keep our 15 minute commutes from the suburbs, low pollution, low crime, low risk of natural disasters, lack of poisonous creatures, easy access to abundant fresh water, 4 seasons worth of nature change and awesome variation in outdoor seasonal sporting activities (where else can you ice fish, jet ski, and snow ski all within a few minutes from home?). I'll keep the bad rep if it means we get this to ourselves.

  • @chuzrodriguez doesn't know what he's talking about! It's terrible here! The weather is really awful. I'm thinking of moving away it's so bad. Sometimes it snows 7 feet at once! Really!

Oh, and the crime is really bad, and there's nothing to do here. It's very sad. Much better to live in NY City, where I'm moving... soon.

  • Not soon enough. Enjoy your 800sq ft condo for $150K. Really?

  • Lake effect snow is when we get hammered. If you live in buffalo and hear anything involving the words Lake, Effect, and Snow in the same sentence, that means it's time to wrap up the social gathering and head home before you end up stranded in the middle of a white out on the highway. Bad news.

  • thumbs up for buffalo

  • lol. you sound like a bunch of grad students ... sad i know this

  • Why do people think Buffalo is bad for the weather? I LOVE the snow.. shame Buffalo is ridden with crime and is just plain ugly.

  • @BearsysRevenge I love Buffalo. I'm from Texas and I always fly into Buffalo. I know it's not the same at it was in the 50s and the economy has taken it's toll on the town. But there is a distinct feeling in Buffalo. I don't know what it is, but it keeps me going back. Love the Beef on Weck sandwiches!

  • @greenapplesnapple Yer just a bum who whiness and crys bout nothing to do... Your why this city is not going anywhere. Get up and do something like supporting a local band instead of all this out of town bullshit.. Buffalo is awesome. Buffalo get barly any attention because no one from Buffalo wants to support Buffalo..
