Yes, I know the mouse is on the screen, and I don't know how I missed it, but I did, I am sorry. It may be annoying, but this was the first attempt at the fight, and I wanted to record the first one so I could see all my strategy as I fought him.

Ok, the Final Battle. I dunno how to record sound well through Camstudio, so I had to improvise.
The first battle is with the Crying Goddess. A few hits and she is done, but wow, such nice damage! I thought I remembered she didn't fight back, but I wasn't going to hit ABC and be wrong. I wanted to beat everything the game had, so I got Agni at no leveling up cost by doing it late in the game when the solo battles would not yield any levels raised. I fought one round with the crying goddess that most people fight as the final boss to see just how much easier she would be, and then I summoned Agni and brought out the real battle.
Tyr is just as strong as she is ugly! My goal when I set-up the battle was to have Ox be the unbeatable tank spamming Marble1, Bo being the secondary healer and primary StarHammer user (that does 400 damage everytime and can be used over and over), the Hero being an item user and another Marble1 user, and Nina being Support.
Turns out, Ox's attack is pitiful here, so He became the main StarHm user and the emergency healer, and Bo, Hero, and Nina were all his supporters. It took me a while to figure this one out. The others I had attacking as well because the longer the battle went on, the harder it got! Actually, at first I forgot about the StarHammer completely. The Goddess has a few attacks. She can attack a single person that can only kill Nina at full health; a full party attack that does 70 damage to the last three and heals Ox; two single targeting blast attacks that can kill all but Ox in one shot.
I was actually really sad at first to see this final boss's health fall so quickly, thinking I kicked it's ass. But most of it's health is in it's second wind mode. Very very early into the match I am down to two fighters: Ox and Nina. Thankfully, I have my hoarde of 13 Life2s. I have used two in previous boss battles (Gremlin and the HornToad), but have what I thought was Plenty. I want to raise them, but at this point, I thought I was close to beating him... silly me.
Then Ox solos... barely two minutes into it. It was at this point I switched out members to avoid being overrun. Turns out that 115 ACT is not faster than the boss, sorry, Karn. I made my armour choices for defense, not for special effects (except the earth robe, but even so), so the counters from the EchoHat were not meant for a measly 8 damage. And I wish I had gotten the Life Armor sooner! Wow!
As you watch, you can almost see what I am thinking as I make my decisions. I refused myself the privilege of watching or reading anything about the final boss before fighting her. I only watched all three of MoogleBoss's videos after I beat her. And I guess I messed up somewhere for my levels to be a little higher.
