KNITE - Light Up The Sky

Yosh! This is my second AMV made to the webcomic entitled "Knite" by artist Yuumei on deviantART. I decided to make another one with this song, titled "Light Up The Sky" by the band Yellowcard because i thought it was just so perfect (and not just because the title describes what the Knites do in the comic almost every night). It's almost like this song was made for this series! Listen as you watch and you'll see what I mean.

Anyways, if you didn't read the description in my last video, Knite is a webcomic by Yuumei on deviantART. It takes place in China and is about a boy, Sen, who (along with the rest of a group called the "Knites") fly kites with Christmas lights attached at night so they can resemble stars in the sky, since the smog in China from the factories and industry have blotted out the stars (Which is why the title of the song fits so well). It's a very inspiring story filled with colorful characters and beautiful artwork.

I never realized this before but Sen looks a lot like Kyoya Hibari from Katekyo Hitman Reborn, just without his tonfas. He acts a bit like him too. Anyway, I absolutely love Knife and I've been obsessed with this song for about two months now. I love what you've done with this video, the timing is accurate, the images go with the music, and I know how much work you must've put into this. You did a terrific job.

@gaysanatomy The one who sabotaged Sen's kite is Zhen. He was created by somebody else but like VKF said, he was introduced because of a contest. According to his creator, he sabotaged the kites not to be mean but to prove a point, that instead of dreaming and putting fake stars in the sky, Sen and his group the Knites should aim higher and "above the smog", and try to clear the skies for real . c:

@gaysanatomy Well, he's more of a anti-hero. Yuumei had an OC contest and that's the OC picked. If you look up the profile on him he's a bit more of an anti-hero than antagonist.

@VKFan42 Well, wasn't there also that one unknown person who sabotaged Sen's kite? I know it's a bit hasty to generalize from just that incident, but I thought that might be a "message" sent from an antagonistic group.

@gaysanatomy It would. I don't know of any antagonists yet except for Sen's step-mother who is more anti-villain since she had a bit of a reason to freak out.

I was actually hoping the antagonists would have realized this themselves, and that would serve as the main reason for why they are trying to subdue the protagonists' kite flying organization. That would make for some interesting plot developments.
