Say goodbye to the Carmina Mare which washed ashore in heavy seas off the coast of Los Angeles, California. This once-beautiful 46 foot boat could not be re-floated so she will meet her fate and be turned into rubble. She was not my boat. I was the only videographer on scene.

  • @ToonandBBfan Captain Larry did get the bill courtesy of Los Angeles County Dept of Beaches and Harbors. The boat was anchored in 40 mph winds there is nothing but sand to anchor to off playa del rey. He lost it all. Larry lived and worked on the boat. It would of been better inside the sheriff impound dock behind the breakwater.Capt Larry said people become overly attached to personal property.

  • nothing like a bulldozer

  • u coulda just used 10 dudes and 10 sludgehammers but it wouldnt of been as fun

  • @Teridor2 I'm just saying the myth of California being obsessed with the environment is just a myth.

I live in Silicon Valley, where a house will cost at the MINIMUM (a house, not a townhome) of $350,000 in any non gang area. You'd expect with that sort of cost that you'd see solar panels all over homes, because it only adds like 5% to the cost of your house to run entirely off from solar energy. and we always have sun.

I know ONE HOUSE with solar panels.

  • @fuzzywzhe Can you imagine for many years later kids and people getting GRP splnters in their feet and body thru this stupid action. GRP splinters are not nice and very painfull even the dust can make you itch for days ...Crazy authorities.dont you think ?????....

  • @dreamsfgh "Im surprised "enviromentally aware" california allowed this to happen"

    I live in California.

All that crap about environmental awareness? It's just to shake down small businesses and keep property taxes high, and to prevent competition in land development.

  • HEY THATS MY BOAT!!!!
