I think he was probably the freest man to ever live. And he was fortunate to live right there in the 20th century America. The nations best century. But fame does things to people. And life becomes sad sometimes. Still I love living vicariously through his writings.

@eslgurucalif This can't avoid the admiration I feel for the writer. Besides, wrong or right the way he took, he left the next generation the gift of his writings, I won't judge him for this.
