Yet another look at the rail traffic at Deal Street. Photographed on nov-Dec 1992, this clip features locomotives of classes 37, 47, 56 and 60. Of note is the clip of 47 147 arriving at Manchester (Exchange) with 6V15 (Ordsall lane - Acton) and departing after having run round the train.
Another excellent video. I work at vic but have to say the railway seems like it was a far more interesting place to work on back then. A lot more going on and much more variety of traction. Just out of interest, the little hut at 5:00 mins still exists albeit in a derelict state. Any idea what it was used for? Thanks for the great vids and keep up the good work.
