  • great q&a,

    thanks!

  • Yeah, the thought of gathering all the money needed to fulfill this passion is a daunting one. I'm twenty years old and I used to think that I have all the time in the world as well. As I've gotten older, I've realised that the time in the past went a lot slower than it does nowdays, which zooms forward almost supernaturally! Soon I'll be 30, 40, 50!

But nevertheless, it is still a dream! I hope to bump into you at the NYFA some day as well. Tell me how you get on in return. :-)

    Mike.

  • i think i will prbably save some money this summer and then travel and work to the US or the UK so i'll get enough money to pay for it.. 'cause for me the US is 3 almost 4 times more expensive. but i'm 19, i don't think i'm young but to the world i am so i figure i have time to save the money...

    by the way i'm a girl =D

yeah i think so! never let down!

i hope i'll see you at the NYFA soem day hahaha

let me now iwhen you get there

  • i think the same thing; i never though of it as a carreer but ever since i've finished high school i've tryed with other things and nothig can even get close to fullfil the passion. i love languages too and i'll study that untill i decide for sure to study filmmaking and have the money off course.

  • @matef24 Yes. I love films in every sense of the form. I'm from Scotland, so I'm kind of in the same boat as you. But hopefully one day -- luck will shine on my part :-)

Don't give up my man. All the hard work will not be for nothing if you think you have what it takes to be a good filmmaker. It is -- in my opinion -- the greatest profession to be in.

  • i was thinking the same... i think it's going to take a lot of work to even get there for me. i'm from argentina but i'll try.

do oyu want to study film making?

  • Very informative guy. I hope to attend the NYFA one day.
