  • I love Michael Culver in this. He plays his role with subtle humor which is a great foil for Brett's comic extravagance.

  • @MyLillteFallenAngel Sorry His death was never mentioned in the books. Only in the unpublished journals.

Still Im so sorry I spoiled it for you. Keep reading, their a wonderful seires.

  • @Wildave007 No you just spoiled me to death. :/ Wahhh, I have just began reading the book and now I know how the whole thing will end!!! XD

  • @vampyren1 he never whent crazy he died of cancer at age 75 just to put that out there.

  • Holmes Never Married ... I think in the end he went crazy

  • Some nice stuff to see here...Watson's fascination with Holmes's early cases...Watson being left behind, for once, while Holmes catches up with an old uni mate...and Holmes off his skull on coke and Watson trying to cover for him lol.

(I always thought that Musgrave might already be aware of Holmes's junkie habits, since he knew him at uni. And despite what Holmes says, Musgrave seems like a perfectly friendly fellow here, and Holmes certainly seems eager to chat with him).

  • Thanks for uploading man! What a series...more stuff like that should be on TV nowadays...

  • i love the way he says "poise"

  • Watson: splendid air!!

    Homes: COUGH COUGH COOUUUUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If I recall correctly, both in the books and in the series it is said that Holmes turned to substance abuse to handle the intolerable boredom between significant cases and the drudgery of everyday life. There was a TV play in which Holmes confronts Sir Arthur Conan Doyle on the issue, based on the story that the author had tired of Holmes and, having failed to kill him on previous occasions, tried to make him unpalatable.
