Medusa Jellyfish

While watching the first episode of David Attenborough's Life On Earth Series I was dumbfounded in amazement by the footage of the Medusa Jellyfish. Completely in awe that they begin life as what looks like an underwater plant, and then burst forth like seeds into the ocean. I felt immediately moved to compose this music, and then layer it on top of the footage that spawned it. The video begins with footage of other Jellyfish, but soon settles into the main event. I urge everyone to watch David Attenborough's mammoth Life series (spanning multiple series over decades) and soak in the glory that is our planet.

The first animal shown is not a jellyfish, its some kind of tiny Arthropod larvae.

Yes I was aware of that, thanks for point it out though. I was inspired by this specific footage (the stuff that folloys the Arthropod larvae) to record that music, but it went on longer than the footage lasted, so instead of finding some more relevant footage to edit in, I decided to jest let that beautiful footage that preceded it remain. Hope this bit of lazy renegade Youtube theivery didn't ruin the experience for you!

Hahahha! I never thought of it that way! I composed the piece specifically for this sequence with the medusa jellyfish, so it's hard for me to hear it as anything else!
