    continued

I found many usefull parts online in this shop in the Netherlands (Europe) "cmsnl-dot-com".

For the backend i i'm happy with my conversion to the Suzuki GSXR 250. But it requires some custom welding, unless you want to keep the mono shock.

Also there is some chain tech to deal with - i found help at "jt-sprockets-dot-com" You can find matching sprockets there.

Don´t hesitate to write me - i will be happy to share some of my experience.

  • Good taste in bikes and music.

  • @aaabbbeee

Thanks - i´m glad you like it :)

  • I'm converting a 1971 cb350 into the cafe racer. Just wanted to know what you think might work for a front end for this bike, also do you recommend changing the swing arm to something newer. Do you have any advice for us for the build.

  • @iosifyakubov

Sorry for the very late answer - you probably already found a solution to your project elsewhere... If not - i guess just about anything could do it for your frontend, if you find bearings that can fit in the frame. I have changed the bearings to 2 conical from QMP - art. no. 7361132 "SSH750" - it is supposed to fit bikes: CB250/350/500/650/750, CBX550/ CJ360 and GL1000.

  • What i meant was probably "conversion" - hope this solves this little misunderstanding - but i guees if you´re a normal thinking adult - by watching the video you should be able to find the meaning anyway... :)

But thank you for your interest.

    / Jakob

  • Fucking hell! That's awesome dude! I apologise for swearing but, ya know, just, FUCKING HELL!

  • Whats a "convertion"?

  • Interesting project you’ve got going there mate! Godffery's Garage

  • I've wish I had the talent/money right now to do this to my 76 Honda CJ360T. It's a great bike w/ a lot of new/rebuilt parts, but no one wants to buy it b/c I don't have a title. If that bike sits in my shed for too long i might make it into a cafe racer similar to the designs you showed.
