FBI agents found a spartan dwelling when they arrived at Theodore Kaczynski's cabin in the woods near Lincoln, Mont., in April 1996. But inside were numerous clues to his life as the Unabomber.

  • I find it a bit amusing that supporters of Unabomber - plenty of them on the web - are usually people who've watched 20, 50, 100... thousands videos on Youtube ;) They are the fiercest fans of a guy who hated technology (and targetted computer scientists). Talk about rationality

  • @vibovitold His critics to modern society wasn't just limited to computers and technology, it was way more radical, he considered himself an anarchist, and refused to live like a sheep. That's more than enough to admire such a person. What kind of people do you admire? Our politicians? All they're after is to keep us as slaves and steal our money. Congrats, buddy, you are VERY rational!

  • Anyone takes any of this madman's 'manifesto' seriously, should refuse any modern medication if the need arises, live like a hobo in the middle of nowhere, with likely an average lifespan of medieval levels, shit in the woods and try not to be killed by a bear doing the same. And WTF are they doing on a computer, the industry which was the Unabomber's main target? No, they are like the Bin Laden's of this world who never quite get around to strapping on suicide vest on themselves for 'Jihad'.

  • It's pretty sad that Ted doesn't want people violating his cabin, so instead they got some jerk to tell you how dirty he was. Great

  • pretty rad cabin

  • @pierneus excellent rebuttal

  • @vibovitold thanks for the reply, can't fault it.

  • @smurfieboo "No one would deny technology has improved our lives" - that's not true. "nor do most people want to revert to living in a cave" - "most" people, exactly. Kaczynski did not question the improvements brought by technology, but in his opinion the disadvantages outweighted the advantages by a margin big enough to justify violence.

  • @brynevsfischer1956 You think that David Gelenter is no more responsible for the spread of technology than the rest of us?

People tend to do what they are able to within their limitations. Ted wasn't in command of an army. He did what he thought he could personally do and get away with in order to spread his message.

  • @vibovitold what straw-man rubbish you speak! No one would deny technology has not improved our lives nor do most people want to revert to living in a cave. The problem is not with what technology has given us, but what it will mean for the FUTURE of humanity as we become more and more advanced. Read Ted's manifesto and educate yourself!

  • they forget hoovers black babydoll dress and makeup

  • I bet masturbated a lot in there....
