Not a good juicer. If the motor slows with just one carrot that's not good. I have the juiceman juicer and it is way more powerful.

@OneSteveUnderGod This juicer was highly rated when it came out in the early '90s. Everyone thought it quite good. The part quality is still better than what comes with the Jack Lalane juicers. The screen was great but wore down with citrus acid. You needed to get new ones. The motor was not strong enough and it was very loud. But for $70, it was a good entry level juicer. The Juiceman and Lalane juicers have many fans... quality is less than Breville, Omega, Champion, Green Star.

I'm very happy with my Braun.  I choose it over the Jack LaLane anyday. Amazingly, my Braun juicer leaves the pulp more dry than my Champion juicer.

Thanks for this! Someone gave me one of these juicers for free... they bought it years ago and never used it. I figured it wouldn't work well for greens, but this video saves me from wasting greens trying it out. :)

I have a z-star hand crank juicer that works well for greens... i guess i can use the mp80 for everything else until I can afford to get a green star juicer. :)

i have this juicer, i got it from my grandmother, so the fact that its from the 90s makes perfect sense.. its a hassle to clean up though..

I picked one up today at the thrift store for 7 bucks. :D I love the fact that it has a smallish footprint and when closed up has no extraneous lumps bumps or bails. A hint for all of these pulp throwing machines, line your pulp container with a produce bag, then line that with a cheap paint strainer from home depot, they have elastic around the top and fit over most of the containers without slipping off. Then you can squeeze more juice out of your pulp.

Seems like it is okay juicer for the right price,but it is always better to spend little more money on the juicer and get a better result for juice.

@JuicerReviews My Juiceman is still running strong, but as you've stated, and as is the case with the Juiceman as well, the screen becomes somewhat corroded over time; the holes get clogged as do the teeth, which I suppose should be expected.

I'll be looking for a high quality juicer again soon, but for a reasonable price.

I've checked the Vitamix for years, but the price is simply too staggering for those who don't have the funds, i.e., me.
