I've given myself a personal challenge to loose 125lbs by March 9th, 2010 to coincide with the release of The Scarlet Ending's new album "Ghosts". After seeing the amount of work and passion these guys can put into what they love, why can't I put that much work and love into myself?

  • Profile views don't really work that well when you are wearing the same color as your backdrop. lol

  • I clicked this video cause Shay Carl was in the title, I'm not going to watch this video. good luck loosing the weight. Here is some advice,

    1. Drink water only.

    2. Eat meat and veggies only.

Follow these 2 steps and you will loose a lot of weight with out working out, You should loose at least 5lbs a week.

  • BTW u are funny. "Fat Casual". Hey... that could be a clothing line. And yeah, I dare u to wear a Unitard when you are at your goal! WHOOOOOOT

  • Good luck on the Shayloss competition. I see he's still doing it. I wish u the best in your journey! The Healthy Way is the lifelong way!

  • Also wanted to say - doing it the healthy way... man oh man... slow and steady, I guess! It can be so frustrating, but in the end, if you have changed the way you live your life entirely, you're not going to have to worry about the pounds coming back. So much better for you than a crash or fad diet - changing your habits into ones that you CAN carry out for the rest of your life without dying from some kind of malnutrition.

  • Your determination is very inspiring, Matt. I think you're probably one helluva guy in person, and (please don't think I'm creepy!) I think you're kind of adorable, to boot!

Sometimes you do need to shake it up a little when your body starts to plateau. Do you follow any of the sites out there like sparkpeople? BIG help for keeping track of things... unfortunately, however, you can get uber sucked in and spend an entire day just browsing their articles.

  • you should have wore something white its hard to see this way

  • I have NEVER lost a single pound simply "eating sensibly," no matter how long I stuck it out. I only lose when I do something really extreme (sometimes doctor supervised), like cutting out carbs for a while. I have tried those prediabetic drugs that are supposed to help with weight loss, and, again, nothing. So if you crack the code, please share! I need some new hope! You are an inspiration just because you keep working.

  • Matt,

Started a gym membership for this year. I'll be working out 3 times (maybe 4) a week so that I can put some muscle on and keep burning more calories.

    240 now ... wanting 175 by summer.

    You inspire me! :)

Happy New Year from Sarah and I!
